Welcome

SEED believes that each school year offers an opportunity for students to be involved, engaged, and stimulated by the world around them. Whether it is participating in an internship, studying abroad, playing sports at a summer camp, or engaging in a leadership program, students expand their horizons through off-campus enrichment activities. Beginning in middle school, students and families are strongly encouraged to apply for and participate in external opportunities.

SEED is committed to identifying challenging and exciting opportunities beyond SEED’s campus for any student that demonstrates academic excellence and has mastered SEED’s Core Values. Our long-term goal is for each SEED student to participate in an external opportunity that promotes The SEED School’s mission of college-preparedness.

In recent years, SEED students have completed service projects in Africa through LearnServe Zambia, lived with families in Australia, China, Mexico, Scotland, Costa Rica, Japan and Spain through The Experiment in International Living program, traveled throughout Greece through the Niarchos Foundation Greek Classics Program and explored Wyoming’s wilderness through the City Kids Wilderness Project.

During the 2011-2012 academic year, SEED has partnered with the following programs:
