The National Aquarium invites rising 6th-8th graders to apply to their Watershed Explorers Camp. The Watershed Explorers Camp is a week-long day camp that will introduce students to the dynamics of watersheds, from water chemistry to animal identification and human impact.

The camp will include three (3) days of field experience on the Anacostia River, including: a canoe trip, a boat trip, and wetland grass planting. Campers will also learn about the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, how we impact it, and how we can protect it.
